What is a catamaran cruise in Corsica with CATLANTE?

A catamaran cruise in Corsica means discovering the Isle of Beauty from the sea, where the road stops. Some of the finest beaches in Corsica can only be fully enjoyed by boat: secluded coves, long stretches of white sand, limestone cliffs and anchorages where you spend the night as close as possible to nature.

With CATLANTE, you sail aboard a large all-inclusive catamaran carrying only 12 passengers, with a professional skipper holding the Capitaine 200 Voile licence (the French professional sailing qualification) and a sailor-cook. The crew takes care of navigation, manoeuvres, meals and all life on board. You need no sailing experience: all that is left is to make the most of your cruise in Corsica, between sailing, swimming, discoveries and stopovers.

For more than 15 years, CATLANTE has been showing Corsica from the sea. With over 2,200 cruises completed and 23,000 passengers welcomed, our crews know the sheltered anchorages, the times when certain bays recover their calm, and the itineraries that reveal a more authentic Corsica, away from the busiest areas

Cabin cruise or private charter: two ways to sail

CATLANTE offers two ways to experience your catamaran cruise in Corsica.
The cabin cruise lets you book one or more private cabins aboard a large catamaran shared with only 12 passengers. It is the ideal option for travelling solo, as a couple, with family or with friends, while enjoying a friendly atmosphere and a professional crew.

The private charter is for families and groups of friends who want a boat all to themselves. You charter a large catamaran with a professional skipper and a sailor-cook, while keeping the freedom to share your holiday only with the people of your choice.

Whichever option you choose, your cruise is all inclusive: a professional skipper holding the Capitaine 200 Voile licence, a sailor-cook, full board, drinks, bed linen, cleaning and all the running costs of the boat. From the moment you step aboard, the crew takes care of everything so that you can make the most of your stay.

Looking for a skippered catamaran charter in Corsica?
If you are considering a skippered catamaran charter in Corsica, the CATLANTE private cruise is a particularly comfortable alternative. You enjoy a large catamaran reserved entirely for your group, with a professional crew, without having to organise meals, provisioning, cleaning or the logistics of the boat. Everything is arranged before you arrive: all that is left is to step aboard and enjoy Corsica

When is the best time to go on a cruise in Corsica?

The CATLANTE season in Corsica runs from late May to late September. In June, the days are at their longest, the sea generally reaches 22 to 24 °C and the coves are still quiet.

In July and August, the sea is at its most pleasant temperature (26 to 28 °C) and the summer atmosphere is in full swing, with naturally busier anchorages. For many of our passengers, September offers the best balance: a sea that is still warm, beautiful light, fewer visitors and often more attractive prices.

Our skippers' advice: if you can, choose a departure in June or September. You will enjoy a sea that is already — or still — very pleasant, quieter anchorages and a light that photographers particularly appreciate.

Why choose CATLANTE to sail in Corsica?

At CATLANTE, we believe that a great cruise is not only about the landscapes. It is also about all those moments lived on board that make the difference.
Here, everything is all inclusive. Your skipper takes care of the sailing, your sailor-cook prepares generous food from fresh produce every day, all drinks are included, and the aperitifs, carefully prepared before each lunch and dinner, become real moments of sharing facing the sea. You take the time to talk, to go back over the day, to watch the sun slip gently behind the Corsican mountains... and that is often where the finest memories of the week are made.

Between two stopovers, everyone enjoys the cruise at their own pace. Paddleboarding at sunrise, a kayak trip along the cliffs, snorkelling in clear water or simply a nap on deck while the catamaran rocks gently at anchor. Nobody imposes a programme on you here: you experience Corsica the way you want to.

Because everyone has their own way of travelling, CATLANTE offers three ranges of catamarans, Confort, Élégance and Privilège, to suit every expectation of comfort. Whichever boat you choose, you find what makes CATLANTE what it is: large catamarans carrying only 12 passengers, a professional crew, a friendly atmosphere and an all-inclusive cruise where everything is designed so that you can make the most of your holiday.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. CATLANTE offers private cruises, an excellent alternative to a skippered catamaran charter in Corsica. The boat is reserved entirely for your group and a professional skipper, holding the Capitaine 200 Voile licence, handles all the sailing. A sailor-cook prepares the meals and takes care of life on board. No licence and no sailing experience are required.

All our cruises are offered on an all-inclusive basis. The price covers your cabin, the professional skipper, the sailor-cook, full board, drinks, bed linen, cleaning, paddleboards, kayaks, snorkelling equipment and all the running costs of the boat. From the moment you step aboard, you can simply enjoy your holiday.

Prices vary with the season, the length of the cruise and the range of catamaran chosen. For a cabin, prices start from €1,850 per person for an all-inclusive week. For a private cruise, allow from €18,500 for a chartered catamaran accommodating up to 10 people.

No. Every CATLANTE cruise is led by a professional skipper who handles the sailing and the manoeuvres. You simply enjoy your time at sea, without having to steer the boat or hold a boat licence.

The season runs from late May to late September. June appeals with its long days, its still-quiet coves and a sea that is already pleasant. July and August offer a summer atmosphere and particularly warm water. September is often the favourite month of our crews and of many passengers: the sea stays warm, there are fewer visitors and the light is magnificent.

South Corsica showcases Bonifacio, the Lavezzi islands, Roccapina and Tizzano, alternating limestone cliffs, white sand beaches and wild anchorages.

North Corsica takes you to the Calanques de Piana, the Scandola nature reserve, Girolata and the Agriates desert, for a cruise more focused on vast natural landscapes.

All our cruises depart from Ajaccio.

A catamaran offers more space, stability and comfort than a traditional sailing yacht. The cabins are roomier, the living areas are generous and anchorages are particularly pleasant. It is also the ideal platform for enjoying paddleboards, kayaks or simply relaxing facing the sea.

Yes. CATLANTE cruises are perfectly suited to families. Children particularly enjoy swimming, the beaches, paddleboards, kayaks and watching fish while snorkelling. The large catamarans offer comfortable living areas where everyone easily finds their place.

Every day is different. You alternate between sailing, swimming, snorkelling, paddleboarding, kayaking, visiting villages, walks ashore or simply relaxing at anchor. Your skipper also adapts the programme to the weather so that you enjoy the best sailing conditions.

Yes, and it is often one of our passengers' best memories.

Every day, your sailor-cook prepares generous food from fresh produce. Meals are served in a friendly atmosphere, facing the sea, and the aperitifs carefully prepared before lunch and dinner have become a real tradition on board. A CATLANTE cruise also means the pleasure of taking the time to eat well, together.

CATLANTE offers three ranges of catamarans to suit every expectation.

  • Confort : the CATLANTE spirit, friendly and accessible.
  • Élégance: more space, more comfort and more equipment.
  • Privilège : our most upmarket catamarans, with hotel-standard service.

Whichever range you choose, you find the CATLANTE essentials: only 12 passengers on board, a professional crew and an all-inclusive package.

For more than 15 years, CATLANTE has been showing Corsica from the sea. With over 2,200 cruises completed and 23,000 passengers welcomed, we have designed itineraries that reveal the island's finest landscapes. Add an all-inclusive package, a professional crew, generous food, large catamarans carrying only 12 passengers and a friendly atmosphere: you get another way to discover Corsica.
