  • Day 1 : Marseille, Vieux Port - The Frioul Islands

Provence Catamaran Vieux Port Marseille - Catlante

Meet in Marseille's legendary Vieux Port, under the watchful eye of Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde, to board your catamaran from 6pm.
Once you have settled into your cabins, your crew will brief you on the safety rules and life on board over a welcome cocktail. You will then leave the Vieux Port for a first sail towards the Frioul Islands.
This small archipelago, just a stone's throw from Marseille, is made up of four main islands: Pomègues, Ratonneau, Tiboulen and If, the most famous.
The Château d'If, built in the 16th century, owes its fame to Alexandre Dumas's novel The Count of Monte Cristo and to its hero, Edmond Dantès, who was imprisoned in the fort.
Dinner and overnight at anchor in the Frioul Islands.

  • Day 2 : The Frioul Islands - The Calanques - Cassis

Provence, Calanques Cassis Catamaran - Catlante

This morning, we weigh anchor for a beautiful sail along the Calanques of Cassis, which are unrivalled when seen from the sea.
The view of these impressive geological formations makes for an unforgettable sail. White limestone cliffs rise majestically above the turquoise waters, while secluded coves, the famous little cabanons and idyllic beaches invite you to daydream. Each calanque reveals its own wild beauty.
After a stop for swimming and lunch, arrival in Cassis in the afternoon.
Typically Provençal, this harbour village, with its brightly coloured houses set around the harbour, its fishing boats and its relaxed bustle, is the perfect setting for the end of a day's cruising. You stroll through the narrow streets, pick up a few souvenirs, enjoy an aperitif on the harbour front and simply feel at home.
    Dinner and overnight at anchor.

  • Day 3 : Cassis - Porquerolles

Provence, Stopover in Cassis Catamaran Cruise - Catlante

After breakfast, a coastal sail takes us to the eagerly awaited stopover at the superb island of Porquerolles, the largest of the three Golden Isles.
Hire a bike and explore its village, its vineyards, its superb beaches to the north and its cliffs to the south, to the song of the cicadas. You can also swim at the Plage d'Argent, with its gently sloping fine sand and turquoise waters, one of the island's jewels. Stop off at the Fort de l'Alycastre. According to Provençal legend, a terrible dragon, the Lycastre, lived in a cave and terrorised the population. A valiant knight, saved from a shipwreck by the islanders, killed it with his sword to thank them, thus restoring peace.
In the late afternoon, take a seat at one of the terraces on the church square, where people play boules, and let yourself drift into the gentle island atmosphere.
Dinner and overnight at anchor at Porquerolles or in the shelter of the Giens peninsula.

    Week-ends and mid-week in Provence – Day 3
  • Day 4 : Porquerolles - Sanary - Les Embiez

Provence Catamaran Cruise Porquerolle - Catlante

In the morning, you will enjoy a stopover in Sanary-sur-Mer, another of those little Provençal ports we love so much! Here you will find colourful façades, lively alleyways and the shade of palm trees on the terraces, and above all its flower market, held every morning in front of the town hall.
For the last stopover of your cruise weekend, we have saved the Embiez archipelago for you. Paul Ricard, founder of the famous pastis brand, acquired these islands in the 1950s. Partly classified as a nature reserve, the archipelago is dedicated to protecting the environment. Here, there are no deckchairs or bars on the eight beaches and coves lapped by crystal-clear waters.
Dinner and overnight at anchor at Les Embiez or alongside in Marseille's Vieux-Port, depending on the departure.
