Catlante runs seven crewed catamaran cruises in the Caribbean: six of 8 days and one of 11, from Le Marin (Martinique), Pointe-à-Pitre (Guadeloupe) and Marigot (St Martin), with departures from late October to April. You book a double cabin, not the whole boat: a captain and a cook sail with you, and meals and drinks are included on board.

Which port to start from
Le Marin, Martinique is the port for the Grenadines: Bequia, the turtle reef of the Tobago Cays, Mayreau and Union on the 8-day Grenadines cruise, with Petit St Vincent and Canouan added on the 11-day version. Le Marin is also the start of the one-way Martinique to Guadeloupe cruise via Dominica.
Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe (Bas du Fort marina) opens onto Marie-Galante, Les Saintes and Dominica, the “Nature Island” with its rainforest and the Indian River. The Guadeloupe and Dominica round trip and the one-way Guadeloupe to Martinique cruise both leave on Thursdays.
Marigot, St Martin is the Saturday start for the northern islands: Anguilla, Île Fourchue and Gustavia on the St Barths cruise; St Barths, the pink sand of Barbuda and Antigua's North Sound on the Antigua and Barbuda cruise. Both leave from the same marina, so they can be combined into a two-week cruise.
When to sail the Caribbean
Catlante sails in the Caribbean from late October to April: the first Grenadines departure is on 24 October 2026 and the last departures of the season leave in April 2027. There are no Caribbean departures from May to mid-October.
The official Atlantic hurricane season runs from 1 June to 30 November (US National Hurricane Center), with its peak from August to October. The first departures, in late October and November, fall at its tail end; the dry season runs from mid-November to mid-May, as described in our Grenadines guide.
Rates follow the calendar. On the Grenadines 8-day cruise aboard a Catlante 600, a double-cabin berth costs €1,312 per person for the 11 December 2026 departure and €2,290 over Christmas and New Year; November and March departures stay between €1,521 and €1,700.
